Good to know you are back to gardening again. I bet all those creatures missed watching the process and the beautiful results.

There are a lot of robins where I live, and I like seeing them in action.

Good Morning

Kabu, it really sounds like you had a lovely day.  I hope you have an awesome weekend!  I can't wait to see pictures of all your hard work.  I know the Gnomes are enjoying every minute that you are outside.  My Gnomes have been busy helping us in the yard.  Every now and then Mighty McV and Terrence will argue but for the most part, they are a happy team.  Terrence is the little one in the group and always feels like the other ones are picking on him.  It's like this every year!  We have a little romance going on this year.  Sadie Mae and Blinky have eyes only for each other.  We shall see what happens.  They really are two peas in a pod.

The place I am moving to has....

.....a nice big sunny window that will be great for potted plants.  Looking forward to getting some started.

Good afternoon

Happy weekend to you too! I agree with Pat. You do have a great seat for watching the woodland creatures. I planted a few flowers in pots, but my chipmunks are digging in them and making a mess. They do this with everything that we grow in the yard. Thankfully, they do eventually give up.

Re:

dear Pat. Some of it is because of the trees and the quiet;and some hard work and the rest  wildflowers that will spring back from yesterday's grass cut. Some is luck and leaving nature alone.

Seems you have a front-row seat to all the best of nature's show... Enjoy your day.
