Jason is younger than I am. I wish him health and all the best.

Interesting thinking here....
....I didn't retire from nursing until I was 67, and nurse is hard work. But I felt working was good for me.

42 Is so young still and I would like to think some of my best work years were between 40-60.

In the old days men gave up work and soon after flaked out/ I suppose it might have been the sudden strain and a feeling of emptiness.

Good Afternoon
FSI, I think as long as Jason takes care of himself he should be able to continue working for a while. I can understand being nervous about your health but possibly to ease his mind he should go to his family doctor and talk to him about how he feels.

Good morning
Health issues and other events in a person's life can definitely redirect their way of thinking. Forty-two is still young, so maybe he will rethink things as long as his health doesn't get in the way of his working.
