Re: Good afternoon kabu

Time is time was. It is nice to have memories.  I suppose you could have been a film star

Comedienne , I cannot bother to look that up. Are you going to have a make over?

We would of course love Photos, but will be satisfied with accounts. I bet you would not

want to have dead rats in the freezer these days. We have still got our Christmas turkey. 🌺🌺

Re: Re: ....your pet snake? I forget it's name.

My nephew here in K.C. has one that he has had for years and it has really gotten big.  It has its own bedroom and bath and it loves hanging out in its big tub.  That's where John feeds it.  He also takes it out in their yard on pretty days and lets it hang out in their flower garden.  He and his wife are very nonchalant about it so no one seems to be afraid of it when they visit.

A few years back, on a road trip to Dallas, I stopped in a gas station to pay for fuel. The cashier said to me, "I love your accent." She found my Mid Atlantic accent to be great.

Re: ....your pet snake? I forget it's name.

Boo, I called her Boo snake cos so many People were scared of her. She could never grow long or Thick enough to kill and eat anything larger than a kitten or a small Rabbit. I used to feed her frozen rats or mice. She reall loved and respected me.

Paul Hogan, eat your heart out. Our Kabu is the Aussie star here in Middle America. I also love accents of folks who don't sound like they're from around here. While I worked at SIU in the housing office, I met so many students from other nations who spoke English with an accent. I learned so much from them. I hope your kids enjoy their visit to Omaha.

Good Afternoon

Kabu, I know your book is going to be awesome.  I'm not much of a world traveler but I love hearing your stories.

Good afternoon

Life is too short not to have traveled about. I enjoy seeing new things and experiencing places where I have never been. We are headed out on a road trip on Monday to Gettysburgh and the surrounding areas. I love hitting the road and meeting new people. Regular smile
