I am happy that the Chiefs won. Go Chiefs! I haven't seen any Bluejays for the past few weeks, but we always have Cardinals, Crows, Sparrows, Finches, Woodpeckers, Pigeons, and everything else in between. Of course, we have Eagles nesting on the river by our house. I love watching their aerial shows. I always look forward to seeing the Robins in the yard because it is a sign that spring is on its way. 🐦🦅

Not many birds here only a couple of nervous Robins and one Blackbird > I know they may be feeding on bird tables but it still seems strange. I was going to have a downstairs shower etc. but you have put me off that project if I cannot hack it I will get a stair-lift and turn the front room into a bedroom. Or live with the Gypsy in her caravan. 🌺🐱🐱

Kabu, I'm glad the men showed up to work. I know you will have a beautiful bedroom when they are done. We are very pleased with our living room. It's been so cold and tomorrow we have an ice storm coming our way. At some point this week it's supposed to warm up. I hope you have a good night. Stay warm.

I'm not happy to have the cold, the snow and the ice underfoot, but it is warmer today than it has been. And I am very happy to see that my next-door neighbor has refilled her bird feeder - braving the slick ice underfoot - and the birds are flying in to snack from all directions. Even saw a robin hopping across the back yard and lunching. So far those pesky squirrels have not come by - maybe they are having trouble getting a grip on the trees to climb down, thanks to the icy rain. It will be warmer tomorrow.
