Re: Good afternoon kabu

Well I never felt old until I was twenty three. I really should have some velvet blue curtains

they sound so posh. Yes be careful don't let Jim climb ladders, once one falls it is curtains,

I always wear  hip protectors they are a pain but so is a fractured hip. I like blue but all my walls are a wishy washy colour I expect I hardly look at them. £20 an hour seems the going

rate for tradesmen after a £90 call out charge.🌺🌺🌺

With Son Stephen being a builder he spends a lot of time on ladders.  Now that he is 60 and a big heavy man and has Phil to care for, I do and have for a long time worried about him and ladders.  I know, I know, worrying doesn't help, but you know how it goes.

Totally Love the example you set.

It is amazing what we are capable of when we have a vision and desire. My uncle built a mansion in his early 80's. Last November he turned 90 years old. It was something he always wanted to accomplish.

I do feel that we are in better shape than our grandparents were at the same age. It's amazing and wonderful what people in their 80s and 90s can do.

I'm fairly good with tools, but my endurance and muscle strength are much less than they used to be. Anything that takes longer than 15 minutes - except for typing - just wears me out. Your renovation is beginning to sound so nice - all the aggravation may pay off.  Hope your day is cozy and enjoyable.

Good afternoon

Our renovations are done until May. What you guys are doing sounds like a great plan. I love the color blue in a home. It is calming. My living room and my office have lots of blue tones. I also love teal. Regular smile
