I am not keen on renovations or using contractors in general. I just know there are going to be lots of delays.

Glad to hear the renovations can move on to completion!
While I was gone and my friend and her daughters looked after things here, they report that a mouse got in, though Pixie had it well-pinned down in a spot she couldn't get it, but nor could it go anywhere else!
