Good morning
We had two small parakeets when the girls were young. They sure do make a mess and squawk a lot. They were fun though.

We used to have canary's but after two dropped dead when we kids were shouting.
We did go for budgies, they were more resilient but as always flew through an open window. Sob, sob.🌺🌺

It just seems unfair to keep a bird in the house, and in a cage. I remember a time when many folks had canaries. I loved seeing them fly and build nests when I lived near the woods. Especially love seeing the red Cardinals here in Illinois.Â
