No tree here anymore...
Son brought me some large poinsettias and I've decorated some around them. In my time of old age my love of Christmas is music.....and a little good chocolate here and there. Grandson Phil does not understand Christmas but he loves happy people enjoying each other and anything good to eat, and old Christmas movies.

Good morning
It's nice to get the shopping done. Jim is going to be a happy boy come Christmas morning. Our shopping is finished too. All we have left to do is to put up the tree and buy our Christmas dinner.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the day. I love going places. I've got several gifts so far but no wrapping paper. The Christmas bags sound like the perfect way to give gifts.

Frankly, I'm over the idea of decorating, etc. I'm sending a few little things to the distant great grandkids, we've long since made a family agreement that the grownups will not exchange gifts, just to ease the stress on everyone. I feel akin to the Grinch at times, but it does tickle the heck out of me to see little kids getting excited about it all if I happen to see them in the store.
