It is good that she came to visit and it's great that she did so. Girls will often stay and visit with each other. It would have been nice if she had stayed but at least she was there for a bit.

Understandable. Our daughters tend to prefer to hang out with each other over the parents. I believe that it is a generational thing. As for the go-to snacks, mine is cottage cheese or guacamole and tortilla chips.
