Good afternoon

I can honestly say that I have never feasted on a goose or a duck. I have heard that it is delicious, but I just cannot bring myself to eat something that I feed.

Re: Good Morning Goldiec

Thank you Goldiec.

The old times were really about surviving. So many other things to take ones money now. 🌷

Good Morning

I always love your words.  The snow will be here before we know it.

Re: Pat.

I suppose one cannot be too sentimental. A few loving words always cherished though.🌷🌷🌷

Lo Kabu I am like the stores getting in early. I did read in a magazine that a Turkey farmer

said he gave his turkeys little things to play with. I suppose it is a little act of kindness.🌺🌺🌺🌷

Reading your poem is putting me into the winter spirit, and winter is fast approaching.

Me too. Reminds me of life on the farm, having my breeding pig Slops and how Mother bred turkeys, gave some away and sold a few each Christmas. we always ate a young  Hen.Too early yet though for Christmas.

So much to this story - and a reminder of that year I lived on the farm

while mama was getting cancer treatments. A good life, plenty of work, more than "a daily dozen" chores, but some rewards not found anywhere else. Thank you for the reminders, and the love story, too. Sweet. Broken heart
