I have about 3% Denmark and Sweden and more than that for English/Northern European myself. Not to mention the Scottish and Irish. Still, it may be a bit much for me. Well, one sip should suffice.

It's true some mead is sweet. There is also a dryer flavor of it and one with less alcohol, which is akin to a wine. Blod is not blood but is part of the name on the bottle. It's an advertising gimmick. Viking Blod. Meant to sell. Not sure I'm going to like fermented honey, though. We'll see.

I love the sound of this and Yes I too would love to try mead! I have a tiny percent of Viking Blood in my DNA being as I have a Northern European and English heritage. 1 or 2 %

I've never tried it, but somewhere got the idea that mead has a
sweetness to its flavor that is otherwise a bit like beer. Never heard of blod as a drink except perhaps in vampire movies, and the spelling was a bit different. I'll be interested to hear your review of this special Halloween treat.
