I had a book at one time, Dante, I think Wiley must have got rid of it after he was sick for he knew I loved it and normally wouldn't have touched it.

I should not think the ordinary folk at that time would have understood Latin. Or today for that matter. It is amazing how different forms of language exist. I guess one can only assimilate the meaning if it is presented to those who can decipher the form🦋🦋🦋.

I did not know Dante wrote the literary piece in the language of the day. That's pretty cool.
