I never knew any of what you reported here.

My biggest memory of the song was when someone dedicated it to me. I asked them why they did so, and they said..."Because I love your eyes."

My eyes are green! 🤪🤣

I'm glad interracial marriage is no longer looked at as being taboo...I'm surprised Morrison did not think much of the song.
