It does seem that parents are super lax with their kids. I do feel that in order for society to improve, that has to change.

I have never been spoilt ,well until I came on Blogit and learned how to use a
toothbrush for cleaning purposes. Also how to fall in the snow and laugh about
it.There was a lot of sand picked up by the wind and it is over here so the sun is
shining but the rays are muted. Archie said sun flowers are the best seller I always
buy the seed that produces six or more heads per plant

I hope the day was great and Jim's birthday was wonderful. I remember after daily PE class we had 3 minutes to shower. Your post reminded me of that. Of course, none of the girls really did much other than step in and step out and everyone watched out for their hair to keep it dry and big!

If being spoiled means being made to feel loved, then I'm all for it.
But we are better prepared to be grownups when we are taught to follow rules and respect others as well.

Good afternoon
That is wonderful that you were a spoiled child and teenager. All children need a bit of that in their young lives. Growing up with five different dads, and moving to various cities and states, being spoiled was not something that I experienced until I met my husband John in 1986. Once married and later having kids of my own, luckily, I knew enough about the hard times, that I was capable of spoiling my three girls and my two grandchildren.
