I have not seen too many spiders as of late, thankfully. For me, it's been a summer with a lot of moths.

Loved this post, and it seems we are enjoying the same mild stretch
of weather. A couple years ago the city here banned bird feeders in yards because the seeds that dropped were attracting skunks, and apparently the number of the stinky little guys was too much for the animal control folks to deal with. I still smell one overnight when it's rainy and the air stays close - not too often, but even a faint hint of the scent can be noticed. I don't mind spiders. I know lots of people have a serious fear of them, but except if I happen to walk through a web I kind of admire their creativity. Wasps I can do without.

Good afternoon
Our temps are comfortable here as well. It's wonderful that you appreciate the birds enough to make sure that they feel at home all year long. We do the same. I feed them no matter what the season or the weather. The pretty red Cardinals look stunning on the feeders when it snows. Have a lovely day.
