Comments on What the Future Holds

It's really interesting to think about, and has a lots of fright elements as well as some good potential somewhere. I recently heard two comments about AI. One from the Pope, who mentioned praying that AI always work for the good of humanity; and the second from the computer repairman. Yep! He said humans are always thinking of ways to outsmart whatever is the system and that they would outsmart AI. I hope so, if need be. How nice if AI could diagnose diseases instantly and before they got out of hand! That would be a good use. I can think of a million bad uses, too. Thank you.

Good Morning

FSI, I really do not think AI is good for any of us for so many reasons.  I can see jobs disappearing and the powers that be using it against us in some way.  I'm not sure we can stop it but for the people that want to take control, I think resistance will fight against them which will bring more troubling times for all of us.

Good afternoon

AI is detrimental in so many ways, and I can see it being used as a way to reduce the human population. Of course, COVID and natural disasters are all playing their part in weeding us out. AI is just the cherry on top.

I almost always totally agree with you but I am not sure about your views here. The thing is way back in the dark ages when I was young there were dire predictions of loss of jobs and by the millennium everyone would be golfing. It hasn't happened because progress, so far, appears to have created other jobs for human's to undertake. It seems to me that many people work longer hours now than they used to when I was young.

I suppose things will happen, we shall either accept it or try to destroy what is invevitable  Perhaps the best years have slipped by.
