Today, August 31, 1965 my baby boy was born, youngest of four boys. I only got to enjoy him for 22+ years. He died two weeks before he turned 23. Grandson Peter is his child. My daughter-in-law remarried two years later but she is still my daughter-in-law and her husband is an extra son to me. She contacted me yesterday with an old photo and the comment, "I sure did love Him!"

Well it is good to know that the boys are doing alright.
I hope you are O.K. I think this is a little time warp. I was thinking
once I bought a pint of Bitter for a shilling now it is one hundred
times that price. Rabbit skin 8 pence. Today zero.

That's wonderful how your son was able to find something to do. I'm thankful for my interactions with the special adults who I interact with.

Good afternoon
One of the true meanings of happiness is getting paid for doing what you love. Good for him. I am just a few years older than your baby boy, and I still don't know what I want to do. I guess that is why we are given the comfort of changing our minds at free will.

You are rightfully proud of him. Making music and helping folks live
their best lives. And you're right - 53 is still a youngster when it's one of your children. He must be a happy guy to be around.
