MY CAT ITSY BITSY IS 16 AND IS STILL FUSSY BUT CLIPPING HER NAILS DOESN'T SEEM TO BOTHER HER. SHE COME TO ME WHEN I WHISTLE KISSES ME AND OCCASIONALLY BITES ME SOFTLY ONE TIME SHE WAS MAD ABOUT SOMETHING AND DREW BLOOD. SHE SITS IN MY BEDROOM WINDOW AS I MADE A PLATFORM FOR HER TO SLEEP BUT AT BED TIME SHE'S NEXT TO MY SIDE

I'm afraid a cat that drew blood when he bit me would be moving
to a new home by close of business that very day. That first time sets a precedent for future behavior. But I do understand the need to trim those claws.

Oh, ouch! They do have some sharp teeth and quite a bit of temperament. I'm sure that he is now trying to suck up to you after his little fit.
