Most men took pride in their work in the old days. A bit different nowadays.

My dad's reputation is so good in the businessworld to where he won't pay for a contractor job until it's done. Even then, you'd be amazed at how much hemming and hawing goes from the contractors.
My grandfathers were jack of all trades.

That contractor didn't deserve your money! What a rat! I h
ope he can do some fixin' that needs done. You are lucky to have had a dad who could fix things. My dad could do some things, but he really wasn't mechanical. I still miss him.

As I've said many times, how much simpler life would be for you -
and for the contractor - if he just did the job he was hired to do the first time through. It must cost him something to keep coming back to fix mistakes, and it certainly doesn't win the hearts of his clients. Have a good day, Dear Kabu.

Good afternoon
That is a real shame that the contractor wasn't a man of his word. I would leave him a crappy review to save others the pain in the future. I'm sure that your dad would have given him a lesson on good workmanship, among a few other things that a man should know about when it comes to honesty and integrity. Have a great evening.
