I don't eat them often, but once in a blue moon I enjoy a Boston cream-filled donut, but they do tend to be heavy on the tummy. One must indulge every so often.

I love a Krispy Cream Donut but only the simple ones that are iced with Caramel icing. I probably had not had one for a couple of years but Jim saw the sign out for Hot donuts so he stopped and bought a dozen. They didn't last long!!

My heartfelt condolences to know that your mother has left us. It's always so difficult to lose a parent. How nice that you have a comfortable apartment and I hope your ancestral home is in good hands as well.

A pleasure, Sis, to be meeting u after ages. Hope you're staying. We are all well. Have just come back from Singapore and Indonesia where my elder son has been posted on a promotion. Since Dec when we met last, we've changed our ancestral house and have bought a comfortable apartment near the airport. My mom left us on Dec 21, 2022. Rest is all fine.

Any day I will take an onion bagel with cream cheese over any kind of doughnut. When I was just a kid we had neighbors who owned and ran a doughnut shop. Quite often they would bring to our family a great big box of dayolds of every kind. I got tired of doughnuts really quickly. It's been years and years since I've had one.
