Good Afternoon
Kabu, the only thing I know about Australia is what I know from you. Thank you for sharing your memories of a wonderful childhood.

Of course Marino wool. The factory near here made blankets and I have one on my
bed at the moment. So you can tell how cool it has been. I did take it off in June. I
expect your Father's land is built on now. We would all be mega-wealthy if we had
kept the land. But then was then and we did not know about now.

There was a lot of post-WWII economic growth that seems to have touched everywhere.

I may have said something about my Uncle George who served with
the American army in WWII - he was stationed in Australia and married a lovely woman - my Aunt Goldie - and brought her home with him afterward. She was a pretty blonde lady - very sweet and loving and full of fun. Probably a relative of yours.

Good afternoon
This is all indicative of the changing times. I personally would love to go back to a simpler life like the ones that you have described throughout your various posts. Thankfully your dad didn't dig anything up, but that would have more than likely been a really cool find.
