I am not going to ask what a wedgie is. Somehow I don't think I would like to eat

fish caught fresh from the sea . I might nibble a mermaid, but I remember how we

used to love those little plates of cockles etc., at the fairs. I often wonder if we got

a good immunity from germs in the old days. Not getting very brown here I should

think it has been the coldest July for many a year . Chin up .

Good Morning

Kabu, I think storms are scary when you are out on the water.  I love the fact that your father would share his big catches.  I think that's wonderful.

When I was young, my Mom always bought whiting from the fish market.  I didn't know that it was Kabu with her wedgie catching them.

I guess there are things we all hated in childhood and never forgot. Mine was falling out of bed during a nap.

It sounds like a great area to be at...Oh, yes, wedgies are no fun.

I used to do some fly fishing along creek banks in Washington

State, but it was catch & release. Mostly I just wanted to be outdoors. Funny what silly stuff we remember - thinking of your wedgies. I wouldn't like 'em either.

Good afternoon

That is a really cool memory. My stepdad #3 had a boat. We used to go out fishing on Klamath Lake and the Willamette River in Oregon when I was a kid. There is just something really special about catching your own dinner from your own boat.
