When I was young, I loved the oyster fries we had.  My dad was a wonderful chef when he wanted to be and no one could do fried oysters like my dad.

No the name would put me off. Perhaps if they were called duck fish they might appear more edible. I remember seeing a film in Canada the bears were catching salmon and just eating the roe. I would have liked to put a bullet up their ---_

I've had catfish a time or two in my life. I like it, but it's not the sort of thing I would eat all the time.

Good morning

When it comes to fish, Catfish would not be on my list of good eats either. I am also not a fan of Salmon. I much prefer Cod, Halibut, or Tilapia.

Good Morning

Kabu, I love Catfish.  When we lived in Arkansas there was a pond close to us.  We would fish for the white albino catfish and bring them home and clean them.  Then we would fry them.  They were so good.  I've never had anything like them since that time.  They were delicious.  My boys were little at the time and Michelle wasn't born yet.  I'm glad I live in Cleveland because Arkansas has been having really hot weather this summer.  We have family and friends in the area and they have been telling us about the heat.  At one point the heat index was 115.  That's a little hot for me.  I'm not sure how they take it but I think they stay inside in the air.

Sounds like a fun lunch, watching fish swim nearby.
