What a great story. My Mom was raised on a farm. Growing up, she had a goat. Goats are terrific creatures.

I absolutely find goats to be amazing creatures. They loves treats, will eat your clothes, and they are rather smelly.

We have goats in our family that lives north of our city. Marianna's Auntie makes and sells soap made from the goat milk. It is really nice soap. I like using it on my face and crepe skin on my arms and hands.

Sometimes that's the best way... Maybe, alternatively, foster the cute little kid, and hand it back when the cute wears off.
I imagine the fortnightly money was very helpful for the goat-keepers.
