I am starting to get an itch to write something or to rewrite something and put it out there.I am running very short of money. I gave my sons my portfolio in Australia and have put my Canadian money into the house. I am not worried but need to have a few dollars coming in.

I bring in about $8 a month here, enough to cover my monthly fee of $6, but as you say, this place is home to me and has been since 2002.
I haven't had time to socialize much in the past five years, but in that time span, I lost a wife, found a wife, and moved 1900 miles away from where I was living. I don't mean to be disrespectful to anyone, but it seems I get up with my running shoes on, and I go to bed exhausted. I love doing that, but it means my world is comprised of my wife, my dogs, and my writing. I sold my live video production company after we pioneered the field starting in 1998. I was doing live video long before anyone else was doing it.
I retired from a job I loved (working at the race track, something I did for 31 years!), and I have slowly stopped using FB and Twitter for anything other than self-promotion so I can have time to be with my wife and dogs and to write.
I'm very busy, happy, and healthy for my age. I couldn't ask for more.

I see you didn't do any bragging about how much you made at Bloggit. LOL. I'm always surprised if people stay here long. But, this is home to me with friends from so long being family.
