The mind has strange ways...... the fear, trauma,healing, comfort....all lie within.Glad you could overcome the memory of a past experience that was troubling you.

I have always been impressed that you made that journey back and resolved the memory and its attached feelings that was hiding in your subconscious 'attic.' Knowing, bringing light to the things in the shadows, takes away their power.

Good morning
Some refer to it as "post traumatic stress syndrome," but I guess that all depends on if the memory is bad or good.

It has been hard for you at times. My Mother had a hard streak, she told me once it was because she was never shown any love as a child. Especially after her father was killed in W.War.1.

Good Morning
I'm really not sure what my first memories would be. I do remember being about three years old and I had a little neighbor friend and we were playing in the backyard. He wanted to climb the tree and I told him not to. He did and got stung by many bees. He had to go to the hospital but fortunately, I did not.

I can remember back to when I was three but before that it is hazy. I am glad if this is true and the memory is dealt with now, that was giving you suffering.

I don't remember much of anything before I was about 5 years old. There
was a brat of a neighbor kid who lived next door when I was about 3. I asked for a bite of his banana, so he spit a bit of half-chewed fruit out into his hand and wiped it on the wooden fence, reaching his fingers through a gap. Made me mad as heck and I went bawling and complaining to mama, who told me I wasn't allowed to eat anything from anybody else without her permission and made me go inside and sit in a chair. Life just wasn't fair!
