When I was in the UK in the 60's especially we had a special name for walking the London streets. We called it avoiding the Doggy doo dance.

Here's hoping the storms bring benefit and not problems. We must have
very similar rules about dog walking and fouling the footpath here as in your neighborhood - It's been too cold and snowy here for several days, but I've seen a few today - rain here, too. I don't mind it, it's the ice underfoot that scares me.

I love your "Hush" poem. Be careful not to get wet and chilled. We don't want you ill.

Where I am at, we have been lucky when it comes to having plenty of water. Fingers crossed for that to continue.

Good morning
I love the wording in your poem.
I would love to slip away into a gentle sleep for a solid 8 hours, but for whatever reason I am lucky to get 4 hours at the most.
