I'm ready for 2023 and whatever it brings...Nowadays, you need a mortgage to get cigarettes. They're expensive.

Good Morning
I'm hoping that 2023 is our best year ever! One of the prayers at the top of my list is Peace. It would be wonderful in the world we live in today.

Good morning
You are a smart woman. I gave them up in 2007 due to health reasons. I am happy to say that my cravings went away pretty quickly after I stopped smoking. As for the 2023, I hope that what you say is true. We need our oceans replenished, our climate to get back on track, and for skyrocketed prices to go back down. Here's to being optimistic.

Most folk smoked, my Dad would smoke whilst he drank his coffee. I grew my own tobacco once it really smelled vile. It was illegal at the time, I don't know why. Snuff was unpleasant don't ever sniff glue.

I feel fortunate never to have been hooked by nicotine. Cigarettes
are very addictive. My mother smoked until she was 68 years old, despite a hacking morning cough. When the Dr. told her she had a choice, she could smoke or she could breathe, she threw them away and went through the withdrawal pangs cold turkey. I sometimes think that's the only way one can do it. When she first started it was at a time when smokes were being sold as healthy. Weird!

It is always a good thing to give up cigarettes. Ribcage tried once or twice but just couldn't seem to do it. They got him in the end, way to soon. I only tried a pack once when I was young, when you could get a pack out of a machine for a quarter. I decided after that one pack that I didn't really want to mess with that.
