memory is amazing that way. It can go from a warm place to a really cold one depending on the when, where, why, and how. I love your reference to a warm garment. That makes for a nice memory.

I found black spots in my last avocado, too. Trimmed them away and
ate the good parts. I don't know that the dark parts are bad for you, but why take a chance?

I happen to be very picky about my fruits and vegetables, and I want the best...mostly these days of very high prices the fruits and veggies all have something wrong with them. So sad.

Those darkened avocadoes sometimes have a very nasty fibrous texture and I throw them away.
