I love the way the black-striped yellow squirrels keep flitting on the walls of our terrace. They love so much to be around 🌺s.

Good Morning
Roy went out last night and took a picture of all the nuts the squirrels have gathered. There's a big mound of them at the bottom of one tree. I'm not sure if they are going to bury them or what they are going to do with them. It's definitely a smorgasbord. They will eat well for days!

Those little varments do love being around flowers. We have both grey and orange squirrels. The grey variety is much smaller than the orange. They are fun to watch due to their playful nature.

We occasionally see a Grey squirrel , I think most live in the cemetery and seem to take a fancy to flowers. A bit of a pain at times , but such is life.Â

It is funny how crops vary, once the crows well rooks mainly would come in flocks
taking the nuts but there are hardly any crows or rooks around, I wonder if it was the bird flu? Keep digging.

one day we will know; I do know my Father's spirit or soul isn't far from me. Several times he has shown himself to me. I suppose you don't have any dear little red squirrels around anymore to eat the walnuts.

Roy was just telling me tonight that we have so many acorns. There's way more than what there usually are. I have no idea why but I know all the squirrels are going to want them. We will probably have squirrels coming from miles around. Â

The walnut tree grows on the other side of the neighbor's garage, but
its limbs stretch well over its roof and over the concrete pad in front of my garage. This is where the walnuts fall, where the squirrels come to grab them. Some nuts are brought to the top rail of my porch and the chewed-up hulls make a terrible mess. But most, I am certain, are buried at various spots in the lawn, beneath the bayberry bushes, and any other spot they can dig holes in. It looks like not such a large crop this year, but it could be the little rascals have simply collected them before I could get out there and count. I hope your apple crop is both plentiful and delicious.Â

What was is still in my memory and loved by me. What I have trouble remembering is what happened yesterday, or what I wanted to put on my grocery list, or my telephone number that I never call to myself, or someone's name that I really should know.
