My roof is orange tin, but you know that.
I love the sound of rain on the roof, although if it's too heavy Mommy gets very, very nervous.

Like you, I wish the colorful leaves would stick around longer than they do.

Good afternoon
How pretty your home must have been. I love old stone homes. They just look so welcoming and warm.

Good Afternoon
Kabu, I love the house you grew up in. It makes such a nice memory. It reminds me of my grandparent's house. To this day I could tell you what was in each room. I loved that house too. I think your gnomes are really missing you. They ask about you every day. They love the summer they've had here and I don't think they will ever forget it but they know where their home is. I told them I would ask if you thought it was okay that they come home next week. We will miss them but they know they can come anytime to visit. We've really had fun with them and they've worked so hard in the garden and yard that they fall asleep right after dinner. I think they will need a long winter nap.

I always loved fall weather when I was a girl - the crisp mornings,
the afternoons when the atmosphere was honey gold and cozy. It was football season at high school, evenings were for hot cocoa with mini-marshmallows while homework was in progress. There were long "V" formations of Canada geese high above, their calls sounding through the air as they made their way south toward Mexico.
