Maybe have some Ensure on hand when you don't really feel like eating? It is nice chilled and packed full of vitamins, easy to drink. My appetite is non existant when I'm worried or extremely annoyed too. Wonderful what you did for second son. Am wondering what DIL's attitude is now?

Seems to me that stress rolls in waves--some days we just get rolled like unlucky surfers! I keep cans of soup around, and lunch-meats for those times I must eat and don't want to bother with it.

Right I shall have to apply my gnome doctor experience. You have suffered
disapointment, this has made you depressed. In my ,limited experience nothing ever
goes as one wishes it to. It was a nice gesture giving to both of your sons. Most
would not have been so forgiving. I hope the realization sinks in, you are rather a
nice person and I have been depressed but never stopped eating as one has to help
the body fight stress. I won't charge a fee for this consultation because it has made
me fancy a cream bun

It seems renovation is never ending/
We redid our bathroom 3 years ago. A week turned into 6 weeks. What a mess and he would show up one day and stay half a day and leave.

What a freakin' mess to deal with, but fortunately it means progress.
Acccording to my son - a licensed plumber and health inspector - it's not a good idea for home owners to do their own major plumbing or electrical work, too much can go quietly (and maybe dangerously) wrong. It's also a plus to have a city permit and an inspection to make sure the work is up to code. From today's post, it sounds like things are going right in spite of the inconvenience to you and Mr. Graysome.

Kabu, I'm so glad Jim got you to eat. I'm so glad that you are feeling better. Don't worry because before long you will have a delightful kitchen that is just what you want. We've been keeping your gnomes very busy. They barely have time to watch movies by the time they are done doing fall clean-up. They come in from the garden and get hot showers and have dinner and when their head hits the pillow they are out like a light. When they get back home, they will be ready for a long winter nap.

I wish that you lived nearby Goldiec and me. I'd invite you over for a spaghetti dinner. You are an awesome mama to help your son out. Obviously, you are one smart investor as well. The house prices are through the roof. I deal with real estate foreclosures and evictions. It's not a pretty picture. Anyway, I am happy to hear that you are nourished once again and feeling better.
