Good morning
By vehicle is such a wonderful way to experience the U.S. I have driven through Missouri a few times. It is gorgeous. My daughter-in-law is from Missouri. She has talked about the many sights to see and the beauty. Enjoy.

Mark Twain had an incredible life and is a joy to read all these decades later. A true legend.

I miss all the free stuff St. Louis has. Everything in florida costs. No free zoos, gardens, amphitheatre, museums etc. I just don't miss the weather there. I'm happy you enjoyed visiting my home state.

There was a time many years ago when my husband Roy and I
took a day trip to Hannibal and along the Mississippi River - we drove on the Illinois side, crossed the bridge. We went through the Mark Twain museum there in Hannibal, and that's where Samuel Clemens' typewriter was on display. It seems he was the first major author to use a typewriter. Wonder what he could have done with a computer and an internet connection...

Good Morning
Kabu, I'm so glad you and Jim are getting a chance to see all the sights. I hope you have lots of pictures to remember your trip and the fun you had. The gnomes can't wait to see the pictures!

Wow! no wonder you feel tired. I suppose you are 24 in a way.
Never mind when you get home take it easy, Wouldn't be nice to sink into the
feathers of a big bird and just fly where you want to.

I have never wanted to live anywhere else. I've traveled a lot and seen a lot of beautiful and fascinating places where I loved to visit, but I have definitely been at home in Missouri all my life.
