In the States, getting a doctor's appointment can take a long time as well. There has often been a shortage of doctor's and the ones who are around are overwhelmed with patients.
Uncle Albert is looking good, it sounds like.

Good Evening
Getting an appointment takes a long time here too. I have to wait to get into my doctor until October 14, and then I will get my pneumonia shot. I'm very sad about the Queen's passing. I hope people will accept King Charles.

So many seem to work from home in the aftermath of the pandemic,
and now they don't want to get dressed and make the daily commute. It all seems really strange to me, when the job was where you went to get out of the house. I hope Uncle Albert is staying healthy and the weight loss was intentional.

Good afternoon
You've got that right. It took me three months to finally get to the doctor for my annual wellness exam. I had an upper GI scheduled several months ago that was canceled by the gastroenterologist due to COVID. Now I have to wait a few more months to have the procedure done. Everyone is short staffed, and people are wanting higher wages to come to work. It's a vicious cycle.
