Re:Pat
Of course people lost the art of gardening along the way. Once it was a lifeline to help feed a family passed down from generation.

Re: Kabu
I was thinking Kabu as I carried a gallon can of water once I used to showing off of
course carry ten gallons of paraffin in each hand. Of course I could still do it now if I
wanted to break my arms.

Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec
Yes they really do last for a time when cut. It has been hard work this year due to the extremely hot weather. Really looking forward to a mellow September.

Good Evening
I love pinks! They are so pretty to look at. I hope Archie is taking it easy and that you are too. It's been such a hot summer and now they are restricting water usage. I think watering with a can is going to take a lot longer.

My mother used to grow pinks and carnations - rows of flowers along
with the vegetables in her garden. I've always thought pinks were gorgeous.
