Re: Kabu
I think it will work Kabu, but no security uplifts . Some folk have real old stuff but may not go online.

Well you have still got a a while or so but it would be ill advised to use anything personal when the crunch comes. I don't know why it keeps having to change .

Re: Sea Gypsy
Well the good news is I don't think you will be forced, but the security will probably
be dodgy. Chrome books do last five years. I guess though a lot of folks will regard
an upgrade as an extravagance if inflation keeps rising. I was only speaking to a man
today he said he remembered buying a penny lardy it was a square the baker cut
from a large tray sugary and fatty. The same man said he takes one to his friend
each week they are now over £1 the only way I can work it out once one could have
bought 240 for the £1.

My desktop did some random "cleanup" yesterday and was a hassle. The screen is good but it is a slow computer now even though it is supposedly upgraded. i use the laptop as a desktop and XP was my favorite. No 11 for me unless I'm forced.

My computer still feels new to me although it's been on my desk for
months. MS keeps trying to sell me Windows 11, but I'm not buying yet. I still haven't quite figured out Windows 10, and would like to go back to the software I had when I knew how to do anything I wanted with documents in Word. Not happy with the constant "improvements" and upgrades.

This lap top will not be able to be used in a couple of years but it was just sitting in a cupboard so will use it for as long as it works.

Re: Good afternoon
I forgot to add that my computer screen is as large as a small flat screen television. It was a gift from my oldest daughter.

Good afternoon
I'm not a huge fan of Chrome. I have windows 11 through Microsoft Edge, which runs smoothly other than the constant updates. Of course, all of them beat the old dial-up from years ago. I took a crash course eith the Geek Squad, so now I perform daily maintenance on my computer, so I normally have very few issues.
