Re: Annicita

That's all good! I can eat the right Mayo out of the jar. But I don't.

Re: TAPS

I will dip pretzels from the bag in it.

I just buy whichever brand is cheapest. I never use ketchup and the only mayo I use is one olive oil based.

For me it would be a big deal. I really enjoy mustard on something like a Hot dog and yes it has to be the one I like. Like dressing in a jar i like what I like.

Mustard is as Mustard does.   One of the things I just love it in is a dollop in baked beans along with the other stuff.

Re: CCT

I seldom use mustard but it has no fat. I NEVER use horseradish! NEVER! Salad cream - is that mayonaise? That - I love. Mustard has so many different flavors and some I enjoy in minute quantities occasionally. But hey, I don't even use black pepper so I know I have a very primitive palate.

Sorry to say I have not used mustard for donkeys years , or horse radish sauce .

I expect salad cream is not so good for one.

Good afternoon

That is really odd, but then again, mustard is a popular condiment. My favorite is always Di Jon, but my hubby likes the bright yellow stuff.

I imagine it's a supply chain issue. I'd like to think right now at least that people are beyond the hoarding.

For me, it would matter if my favorite brand wasn't there.

p.s. Shortly after reading this post, I happened to be in the

condiments aisle, and thinking there must be a reason I had mustard on my mind, I bought a squeeze bottle of French's - there seemed to be plenty of it in all different sizes on the shelf. As luck would have it, when I got home I discovered that my supply actually was running low. Thanks for the reminder.

Either supply chain issues, or worse, maybe the company has discontinued without making any announcement or warning so people could stock up. Same company did that with Postum: It suddenly disappeared to my great chagrin. Someone else now makes it, years after Kraft pulled it, but it doesn't taste the same. I don't know whether that's me or the recipe.

My palate isn't well-tuned enough to tell the diff between French's and

Heinz, but to my mind, potato salad isn't potato salad without a dollop of the yellow stuff.  I hope the supply chain straightens out soon and you're reunited with your fave.

Weird! I was just reading about the shortage of mustard yesterday. It seems climate change has played havoc with mustard seeds, as well as transportation problems with COVID and the wars going on. They say  France, where mustard is a huge staple, is panicking with the lack of their mustard.
