Thank you. Northbound traffic was building as I approached the bridge, but I have a 'Mac Pass' that allows me to skip the toll booths and cross over without much of a line. It costs $4 per car to use the bridge, but if I make the trip up and back within 36 hours, I don't get charged for the second crossing. The money goes straight to the 'Bridge Authority' which runs a constant maintenance patrol, 363 days a year. The bridge is constantly being painted and cleaned and checked for issues. It keeps the politicians from using the money on wasteful spending in Detroit. Detroit is its own enemy. Let them pay for their issues.

Thank you. My Florida doctor sent my files to a doctor Lisa knows in Lansing (Sparrow Hospital) where I have had both of my heart surgeries, so I am being seen and treated there. I have an appointment late Friday afternoon, so I will be leaving Newberry early. If the traffic is as I anticipate it will be, I should be able to make the trip in just under six hours. If I leave by 7 AM, I will be good.

I am so glad you are both happy and that the cancer fright seems to be behind you. Here, Jim saw his dr recently re his cancer and no sign of anything anywhere so we feel so blessed about that.
