I find that to be the case with my dad where if he has a busy day, he needs the rest. He's 65.

Good morning
I live a busy, hectic life, so I completely treasure those quiet days. Taking time to reflect and engage in meaningful conversation gives me directions and puts me back on track after a hard week.

Good Morning
Kabu, if I have a really busy weekend I truly need Monday to rest. I've always been like that though. For years and years, I've been writing notes on those little sticky pads. The problem with that is that I end up with sticky notes everywhere and still can't find what I need. I think my new plan is going to be a journal or at least a notebook. Another problem I have is that when I write I make lots of notes of ideas and then a lot of times I don't use them anyway. I'm thinking maybe someday I will get it together but the odds of that happening are on the negative scale.
Kabu, no matter what I will never see you as old. You have so many interests and you love beautiful flowers and animals, birds and of course Mr. Graysome. I have to say I think it was Jim's lucky day that he met you. I think you bring sunshine into his life. Imagine how boring his life was without you. I can say all of this because I'm your friend and enjoy reading all of your posts.

I love rest days now. I never used to have them. Even on my days off from work was work of a different kind. Now a rest day for me is just sitting and looking out the window and listening to good music and I so appreciate it.

The thing you forgot just now will come back later, and if you think
to write it down, you may even get to post it here. Very frustrating when that happens to me, but it does...
