I hope your hummingbirds show up. They are here for sone reason. Not every year but this year. I hope you can stay cool in your four seasons room.

I don't want to grow up either.
I feel I have found the happy medium.

Good Evening
Kabu, I loved your post. My daughter always says I live in a Fantasy land and she is right. It happens to be why it's so easy for me to write about talking animals. It's normal as can be to me. There's nobody in my family that thinks like this. I'm the only one and I love it. I hope you find a way to keep cool. The hummingbirds should be flying in soon. They will be so excited to find a new place to dine. My gnomes are refusing to go outside and my fairies haven't been outside in two days. It's hot!

Good afternoon
Being a grown up all of the time can be boring. There is nothing wrong with being a kid once in awhile, in fact, I would highly recommend it.

That's one of the joys of being a grandmother - you get to be a
kid again. Yesterday I got an idea for a kids' book featuring a thing my son Rich used to do with his granddaughters and with any other 3 or 4 year olds. He calls it the magic ball trick. He holds a lunch size paper bag opened wide between his thumb and middle finger, pretends to throw an "invisible" ball into it. Then he snaps his finger, which makes it sound like a ball has fallen into the bag. Always gets kids laughing and digging into the empty bag to retrieve the invisible ball and then toss it back into the bag again. I might ask my grandson Matt, the artist, to do some cartoon illustrations and make copies for my little great granddaughters. It's almost as much fun as having gnomes and fairies living in the neighborhood.
