Yup! We share Florida-style heat and humidity here in the soggy
Midwest these days. This a.m. woke up at 5:30 to a thunderstorm, got up to check for severe weather warnings on the TV. The trees out front danced for a few minutes, the porch chairs blew over, the rain seemed to blow straight under the porch to the front door, and then as I walked to the kitchen for a glass of water, it let up. Coolest morning temps in several days - dropped to 74. Enjoy your shade tree and the Coke.
