Yes Ciel it is as well to put anything you wish to keep on one of those USB sticks.
Fortunately as I have always two machines at hand a lot of the original stuff seems
to jump to the other. Don't ask me why. My brother says it is probably because they
are connected. the one he uses has been disconnected.

THe trouble is Kabu you will be able to use it but I doubt if it will be protected or
updated. Even the screen I used was not compatible with this new computer. I
cannot put windows 11 on the machine I am using as It is not so they say powerful enough.

Doorway to youthful dreams I suspect. I had to resuscitate an old computer as well.
sadly the new version was not compatible with the screen so one had to buy another
screen. Sounds familiar.

Happy to hear from you once again. The computer updates with Edge and Internet Explore retiring have been a real pain in the butt this past week. I updated my drives, keyboard, audio, and everything else this morning, so all systems are go!

Looking forward with some trepidation to my next machine, too. It's all the switching of data from old to new that alarms me the most.
