Re: There was a time some sisters had a pet pig - or rather
No Pat memory is short at such times. We once visited a house that always had half a pig hanging on the wall I suppose it acquired a certain distinct flavour because we were always given a slice at Christmas
. Very nice with the parifin on our hands.

Re: FS
Eek! I could not fancy squirrel, but I suppose it was what one was used to.

I've never had duck. My maternal grandfather loved to eat it along with squirrel. I'm not feeling the squirrel.

There was a time some sisters had a pet pig - or rather
they made a pet of a piglet their daddy had plans for. They refused to eat a single bite of the pork roast their mama cooked after the pig was slaughtered, but they didn't remember where the smoked ham came from a few weeks later.

Good afternoon
I can honestly say that I have never eaten duck. I much prefer to watch them frolicking on a pond than swimming in a glaze or orange sauce on a plate for human consumption.
