Re: Kabu
Since I have been on this blog it does seem that our weather is becoming milder and
sorry to say yours more severe. I always thought your present setting was a month
earlier than ours. Perhaps it is with climate change. I used to know hard frosts here
on the 1st of June. Although it must make a difference now we are enclosed with houses

Re: Pat
It was his mother's pet, so it had been with him a long time.

Sad for Archie. Not easy to lose a companion, especially one who's
been there for such a long time.

Tell Archie I am sorry for his loss. Take care of you. In Canada 26th of May was the day for planting the seedlings etc outside. I expected to plant earlier here but will have to talk to a couple of nurseries I think.

Her long chin made me think about the horse joke. A horse is sitting at the bar and the bartender asks him, why the long face?

Good afternoon
Ah, poor Archie. I am so sorry for his loss. Pets are like family.
As for planting anything right now, the weather is just too fickle to trust planting anything until late May. We are fluctuating between 40 and 70 degrees every few days. My biggest fear is a last-minute frost that kills all of my new buds on my trees, shrubs, and spring flowers that are in full bloom.
