Perhaps you are a wee bit depressed, When the sun shines hopefully you will feel
better. It takes a long time, to adjust as one grows older even if things seem perfect
there is always that little divil whispering subconsciously, you see once you would
have to peep outside your new cave and see if the Sabre-Toothed tiger was lurking.
It is self-preservation that jumbles our minds. Want the screws?,

It is getting more difficult all the time to garden and wash/dry and keep the dishes clean. I get so tired doing anything.

There are pear trees blooming here, too - and a hint by the weatherman
on TV that we could see snowflakes later. It sometimes happen that a cold snap can damage the peach crop here. I like your description of shopping. Hope the bump on your head is not painful or obvious. Be well.
