I agree on the ivy. So you never found out where you were going before the call?

I really hate ivy I wish I could send all the ivy that keeps growing by express train to
you. The only ivy I tolerate is growing up a tall hawthorn tree and it does provide
shelter to the birds in winter. The house near me was once covered in a Virginia
creeper and that is nearly as bad. Creepers give me the creeps. Go East dear
lady. You really should be in bed by 10/30pm.

Someone planted ivy next to the foundation of this house before I
owned it. I've been pruning and fighting it every spring and summer since then. It is almost as stubborn as I am. Old movies are the best, IMHO.

Good Afternoon
Kabu, it sounds like you are having a wonderful day. I'm so glad you are getting to know your neighbors and enjoy visiting them. We've never had Ivy around any house we've lived in. I had no idea the problems it could create. Thank goodness we don't have any.

Good afternoon
A breakfast buffet is my favorite way to enjoy the first meal of the day. It sounds as though he is planning on spoiling you. As for that Ivy, some of it is toxic to cats, specifically the English version, so it's good that you had it removed. My Graysome is probably rejoicing at seeing it go away.
