Thank you. Right now, the house is torn apart at nearly every corner. Very soon, we will start posting photos of the yard where you will be able to see the grassy areas we... my wife... has reclaimed. She has done a fantastic job, and I am proud of her determination. It was not an easy task. We had no idea the little house was back there when she started. She found it as she began to hack and whack the brush out of the way. Now you can see it from the back porch.
I will also begin to post pics of the inside. The first one will be of the new bedroom. I've mentioned there is a two-sided fireplace in the house with a standard chimney, a thing I had never seen before. It is one big open area divided into the 'greeting room' and the bedroom fireplaces. Most of the red brick trim around it is intact, but we will be replacing a lot of the brick in the greeting room. We will take what brick we need to make the bedroom fireplace look old with the original brick and use the new stuff in the front area.
We had talked about posting pics, but we have boxes and boxes and bags and containers inside the place. There is nothing but a path built of these boxes from the north end to the southern end. It's a mess. As soon as we can get the first room done and things that belong in that room in that room, things will begin to get better!
