Good Afternoon

Kabu, your great Grandma sounds awesome.  I would have loved to read her stories.  She raised a large family with 4 girls and two boys.  I'm sure she had many stories she could tell about her life.  I love posts like this.

Yes a pity we cannot hear or read of the things in life that made it bearable. Some really good characters lost for ever.

Haha! Karen and I watched hockey, basketball, and the Curling championships all in one afternoon/evening. The TV is stuck on the sport's netwotrk and not much else. I think maybe some of that G Grandmother is still alive in you - I bet you would have been the very best of friends, you two!

I do not intend to quit Blogit of my own free will.  I keep hanging on even though I am no longer a worthy member who writes every day and who reads what others write.  I hope now and then is better than nothing.

Good evening

I can't imagine Blogit without Kabu. You are loved by all. I would love to read your grandmother's stories. Maybe you can share the ones that you remember with us.  As for watching basketball on television, I believe that I'd rather watch paint dry. Tennis and golf bore me to tears too. Have a warm and safe night.

Re: And wouldn't her stories be a source of amazement to us! To read

Oh I do so agree, but they are gone I am afraid. I believe she was a fun person who should never have been buried in a kirchen.

And wouldn't her stories be a source of amazement to us! To read

about those early days from a woman's point of view would be a rare treat.
