I can't have chocolate candy here because I can't stop eating it until it is gone. If I don't have it, it doesn't bother me at all.

Well Pat we have one pear tree blossoming, last year the blossoms were covered with snow. It does look like it will get away with it this year. I do wonder if it is Global warming or hopefully just a slight change in conditions .I know the Romans grew grapes here. Seventy years ago it would not have been possible.
