Good Afternoon
Kabu, it's probably going to take a while for your gnomes to get used to the new place. I think they are going to have to stay under the radar till they are sure they won't get into trouble!

The more wintry it has been, the more rewarding the arrival of spring feels. I'm so ready for it.

Oh, it sounds idyllic for a day! Today we have several inches of snow on the back porch rail, but 50s in the next couple of days will soon put paid to that! But the long forecast gives us no 70s until mid-May.

Exotic birds are a treat, this winter has been so mild here that I feed the blackbirds as the small birds are always pecking the fruit trees for insects > Also so many folks have bird tables around here. The Goldfinches are regular visitors the neighbour used to keep some in an aviary, they escaped and now fly around here. How funny I always thought your housemate was a slightly built man. Well I know you are a young girl in your mind

What a cute little guy. Reminds me of someone I used to know.
Wonderful luck if you have a pair of Cardinals visiting. Maybe one day they'll bring their chicks after they learn to fly...

I simply adore the Cardinals. They are so vibrant and whimsical.
They are one of my favorite images when looking out the window at the bird feeders.

Aww - he's a cutie! And where is Habbie? Has he been behaving or is he celebrating our 'new, team?? I would like to see cardinals here - hasn't happened yet since I've been living in this area.
